Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial in the United States. You will support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials.

Responsibilities include supplying tools and materials, moving equipment, tagging and notifying residents of construction, and maintaining vehicles. You may work overtime, travel, and be on call as needed. Wages range from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (not Provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
