Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot for Air Evac Lifeteam's medical air transport services in a fast-paced environment where safety is paramount.

The role requires a current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft certificate, rotorcraft instrument rating, and a Class II Medical certificate, with extensive helicopter flight hours and specified milestone hours. On-site position with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, rotorcraft instrument rating, and FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Flight hour benchmarks: 2,000 Total Flight Hours, 1,500 Helicopter Hours, 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours, 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours, and 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.
• Preferred qualifications include B206 Aircraft Experience and High School Diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a team of medical experts to and from locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FAA/Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, including cleanliness.
• Keep accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team according to protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)
