Job summary

Global Medical Response's Air Evac Lifeteam unit is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Salary range $88,759 - $97,635 with a $15K sign-on bonus (eligibility) and retention bonus plans; on-duty housing is provided, and the schedule is 7/7. Minimum requirements include FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, medical certificate, and flight hours.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required for role.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum flight hour thresholds: 2,000 total, 1,500 helicopter, 1,000 PIC, 500 turbine hours.
• Night flying experience: 100 hours unaided or 50 unaided with 100 hours aided.
• Weight limit of 230 pounds with gear to be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and regulatory compliance, including manuals and aircraft cleanliness
• Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping per AEL and regulatory requirements
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change information to successor pilots and crew following change board procedures
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Education
