Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot in Alabama to provide medical air transport with Air Evac Lifeteam. The role requires current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, FAA Class II medical, and thousands of helicopter hours.

Salary ranges from $93,196 to $102,516 with a 5% geo modifier, plus a $15K sign-on bonus and retention bonuses, with on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule. Apply now to join a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Pilot must have helicopter instrument rating.
• Must hold a current FAA Class II medical certificate.
• High school diploma or higher is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients safely with a team of medical professionals.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and comply with FAR/Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
