Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation with Air Evac Lifeteam. The role emphasizes safety and rapid patient care across locations and facilities.

Candidates must hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, an instrument rating, and a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate, with substantial flight hours and on‑duty housing plus a 7/7 schedule. Sign‑on and retention bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to transport customers safely to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch as described in manuals.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to the next pilot and team following protocol.

Salary range $106,511 - $117,162 including 20% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
