Job summary

Serco invites an experienced Engineer (AEGIS Hardware & Software Integrator) to join the PMS 400D team in support of Arleigh Burke Destroyer Class ships. The role analyzes ICS/BL10 ACS components and SPY-6 AMDR interfaces while delivering readiness assessments and integration support.

Required are a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, a engineering/CS degree, and 5+ years in Navy combat systems or related fields. Travel up to 10% and SIPR access are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of experience with Navy Combat Systems or similarly complex systems.
• Experience with Aegis Baseline 10 and CSEDS or equivalent.
• Experience with combat systems upgrades and testing on Navy ships or equivalents.
• Familiarity with software configuration management and baseline development.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software maturity assessments, integration test results, and watch items affecting shipyard activation schedules or delivery.
• Provide onsite support at Moorestown, NJ or other location to ensure adequate integration before shipboard installation.
• Identify early design and compatibility inflection points within the baseline development.
• Review supporting technical documentation, evaluate proposed changes, and resolve issues within the technical community.
• SMEs will provide technical review, analysis, and oversight for changes in their area of expertise.
• The duties require SIPR access.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.
