Job summary

In-Depth Engineering Corporation is looking for a Combat Systems Installation Engineer for its Aegis Ship Integration and Test program. This full-time position is based in Pascagoula, Mississippi, where you will ensure equipment is operable and available for testing.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DoD secret clearance.
• Must be physically able to work aboard a US Navy ship and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a loud environment and support short underway periods.

Responsibilities

• Review design drawings and conduct installation inspections of combat system equipment.
• Support engineering analysis during the installation and test phase of a ship modernization effort.
• Provide real-time feedback to applicable ship design organizations regarding progress.

Skills

Knowledge of surface ship combat system equipment

Ability to read and comprehend production drawings

Ability to read and comprehend military specifications

Ability to travel up to 30% for domestic locations

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

8+ years of relevant experience
