Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Recruiting Coordinator to support recruiting across architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines. You will partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and the Talent Management team to coordinate activities, engage prospective candidates, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

In this role you will own key components of the process including sourcing, initial screenings, interview coordination, applicant tracking, offer support, and recruiting

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience; experience recruiting within architecture, engineering, construction, or other technical industries is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, Business, or related major.
• Strong understanding of AEC talent markets and competitive landscape.
• Strong ability to source and engage passive candidates in competitive markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
• Proven history of conducting effective and proactive recruiting efforts.
• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for events and campus recruiting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for architecture, engineering, and construction positions.
• Source and engage active and passive candidates across AEC talent markets.
• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Create and post job descriptions designed to reach appropriate talent pools.
• Maintain accurate candidate information within the applicant tracking system and recruiting databases.
• Conduct reference checks and assist with the offer process.
• Coordinate candidate travel as needed.
• Support onboarding and new‑hire orientation activities.
• Participate in college recruiting, career fairs, and other recruiting events.
• Develop relationships with candidates and help maintain talent pipelines for future opportunities.
