YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by managing strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, train, motivate, and celebrate associates, and have a passion for achieving outstanding sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales: As a key LOD, you excel at boosting sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through exceptional in-store experiences. You support Store Leadership in leveraging all business opportunities to meet KPI targets.
• Lead people: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO’s core values. You serve as a role model and hold associates accountable to uphold AEO’s service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
• Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent to ensure the store is well-staffed. You take pride in training and developing associates to deliver outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
• Foster teamwork: You set clear, achievable goals for Sales and Stock Associates and provide ongoing performance feedback through coaching. You motivate and engage your team by celebrating successes.
• Visual & operational innovation: You execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards. You ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
• Maintain integrity: You uphold store safety standards, asset protection, and adhere to AEO policies and procedures, always doing the right thing.
