Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador to bring our brand to life. You will provide guests with an amazing shopping experience, educate them on AE & Aerie products, and promote the loyalty program to drive brand loyalty.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room and Stockroom as needed, staying energetic in a fast-paced environment while upholding our values and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers.
• Energetic and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use the AEO Selling Model to engage guests and help them find what they’re looking for.
• Educate guests on AE & Aerie products and suggest items that fit their needs.
• Introduce the AEO loyalty program and other brand channels to guests.
• Work across Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room and Stockroom as needed.
• Resolve guest concerns while adhering to company policy.
• Be a team player and help the team get the job done.
• Uphold AEO policies and procedures with integrity.

As a part-time Brand Ambassador, you bring our brand to life every day! Your goal is to provide everyone who comes into the store with an amazing shopping experience, making their day better than before they came in. You are the face of our company and you're proud of it! You love the products and are passionate about building brand loyalty with every guest. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You use the AEO Selling Model to engage with every guest and help them find exactly what they're looking for, with a "friends first" mindset.
• You are passionate about AE & Aerie products and educate guests on product details, making suggestions that fit their needs.
• You introduce the AEO loyalty program and additional brand channels to guests.
• You are flexible and can work any area: Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room and Stockroom as needed.
• You proactively resolve guest concerns while adhering to company policy.
• As a team player, you assist your team in getting the job done.
• You act with integrity, always adhering to AEO's policies and procedures.

YOU'LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF

• You love interacting with people.
• You are energetic and can handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays when guests shop.
• You love AE and Aerie products.
• You have prior retail experience.
• You are at least 16 years of age.
