Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. is seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador in Bellingham, WA to bring our brand to life and provide every guest with an amazing shopping experience.

You’ll use the AE Selling Model, share product details for AE and Aerie, introduce the loyalty program, and flex across Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room and Stockroom while resolving guest concerns with integrity. You must be energetic, customer-focused, and at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of AE/Aerie products and ability to educate guests.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

As a part-time Brand Ambassador, you bring our brand to life every day! Your goal is to provide everyone who comes into the store with an amazing shopping experience, making their day better than before they came in. You are the face of our company and you're proud of it! You love the products and are passionate about building brand loyalty with every guest. Most of all, you represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

Your Responsibilities

• Use the AEO Selling Model to engage with every guest to help them find exactly what they're looking for, and do so with a "friends first" mindset.
• Be passionate about AE & Aerie products and educate guests on product details, making suggestions to fit their needs.
• Introduce the AEO loyalty program and additional brand channels to guests.
• Flex between the Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room and Stockroom as needed.
• Proactively resolve guest concerns while sticking to company policy.
• Assist your team in getting the job done.
• Adhere to AEO's policies & procedures with integrity.
