Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Hourly Advocate to serve youth and families across Seminol[e] County.

The role requires dependable, community-focused individuals who can act as positive role models in school, home, and community settings. Primary responsibilities include initiating, organizing, planning, developing and delivering direct advocacy services, with service plans grounded in a strength-based approach and wraparound model.

Qualifications

• A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus.
• Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participant and their families.
• All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.

Summary of the Position: Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout SeminoleCounty are available.

• Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.
