Job summary

North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) in Chatsworth, CA, seeks a School Age 11 - Russian Service Coordinator. The role provides information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families within a community-based setting.

You will develop program plans, coordinate services, and document responsibilities in compliance with NLACRC policies. Travel to homes and community meetings is common; bilingual skills may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and at least two years of related experience; a Master’s degree may substitute for experience.
• Understanding of family systems and person-centered planning; empathetic service delivery.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Outlook; able to work independently within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families.
• Develop and monitor program plans, and revise as needed to meet goals.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and their families.
• Document forms and reports per regulations and NLACRC policies.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings with consumers, families, and providers.
• Rotate on-call duties and support co-workers with special projects as needed.
