Job summary

Arista is seeking an Advisory Systems Engineer to act as a strategic technical advisor for large marquee accounts, driving Day 2 adoption, automation maturity, and business value realization from Arista investments.

You’ll be a trusted liaison between customers, Arista TAC, and engineering, coordinating with SEs and PS teams to ensure end-to-end lifecycle coverage and revenue influence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
• Expertise in L2/L3 networking, routing (OSPF, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN) and automation (EOS, CloudVision, Ansible, Terraform, Python).
• Strong familiarity with RADIUS/802.1x/EAPOL.
• Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) classification and power budgeting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Advisory: position Arista products in DC, Campus, Routing, AI, CV to expand footprint and provide technical assistance on new opportunities.
• Automation & Optimization: deploy and integrate CloudVision, APIs, and automation toolsets; help implement monitoring, telemetry, provisioning workflows.
• Technical Knowledge Leadership: deliver workshops, identify training needs, produce business-oriented docs, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
