Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-8+ years of pharmaceutical logistics/operations experience, preferred.
  • Experience in high volume logistics with customer focus and operational excellence; reverse logistics a plus.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Lean Certification preferred (White/Yellow Belt, Kaizen Leader Training).
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; SAP/Mahattan experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment; strong communication and influence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide returns subject matter expertise across all programs (pre-funded, pass thru and DC).
  • Monitors contractual compliance between Cardinal Health and third party returns processors.
  • Streamlines business flow with third parties and internal teams.
  • Identifies and implements improvements across people, process, and technology; ensures change is managed.
  • Supports improvement of KPIs of the reverse logistics function; compiles monthly summaries of returns costs and volumes.
  • Participates in calls with third party processors and QBRs.
  • Identifies and trains sales on best practices related to our third party returns program.

Global Process Owners are responsible for standardizing process and policies as well as continuous improvement initiatives across functional silos, and geographic and business unit boundaries for end-to-end process. This job family analyzes service delivery metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, manage outcomes (financial, quality, risk and compliance) for all process design and implementation changes. Global Process Owners identify, prioritize and recommend technology and process-related investments to decision-making bodies to improve policy, procedures or process.**Job Summary**The Advisor, Third Party Returns/Reverse Logistics will be the day-to-day liaison between third party returns processors and Cardinal Health, which includes Operations, Sales, Finance, Sourcing, QRA, Legal, Commercial Enablement, and Accounting.**Responsibilities*** Provide returns subject matter expertise across all programs (pre-funded, pass thru and DC)* Monitors contractual compliance between Cardinal Health and third party returns processors* Streamlines business flow with third parties and internal teams* Ability to identify and implement improvements across people, process, and technology.
