Cardinal Health is seeking a Sr. Analyst in Global Risk Management based in Ohio with monthly in-office visits to the Dublin, OH site. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • 1-3+ years of Risk Management, underwriting, brokerage, or related experience, with a preference of medical office insurance experience, preferred.
  • ARM, CPCU, or other related risk/insurance designations, preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organization skills; attention to detail while balancing multiple deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Expert or Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with occasional in-office meetings.
  • Risk Management Information System experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collects, prepares and analyzes risk exposure data for property and casualty insurance policies.
  • Becomes a subject matter expert as respects to the Risk Management Information System.
  • Creates loss experience reports using the RMIS on a scheduled and ad hoc basis.
  • Processes invoices, manages vendor payment profiles, and updates cash flow and accrual forecasts for Treasury and Accounting on a monthly basis.
  • Supports captive insurance administration, including premium allocations and claim reimbursements.
  • Recommends and implements process improvements and updates written procedures.
  • Completes assignments for risk management projects, including audits, integration of acquisitions, and special projects.
  • Provides back-up support when other Global Risk Management team members are out of the office.

This family mitigates retained risk via loss prevention and loss control programs. This family also analyzes strategic, operational, economic, regulatory and compliance risks and facilitates mitigation strategies (e.g., business continuity) to address those risks.***Responsibilities***This role is as a member of the Risk Management team reporting to Manager, Global Risk Management to support various department goals and objectives. This role will specifically support The Specialty Alliance, a Cardinal Health subsidiary that supports independent specialty practices by providing the infrastructure, resources, and scale needed to grow while preserving physician leadership and clinical independence.
