Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking an Adventure Club Inclusion Assistant for Meadow Lake Adventure Club. This part-time position offers 22.5 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 1:30–6:00 pm, year-round.

Compensation ranges from $21.83 to $27.02 per hour, with possible additional grant-based and hiring bonuses as described. The role supports site programming, inclusion practices, and family communication, reporting to the Adventure Club Site Supervisor and coordinating with staff and families to serve

Qualifications

• Completed coursework in elementary education, social work or related child field.
• Experience supervising children in school-age care setting.
• Experience with children with special needs.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications or within required timeframe.
• Understanding of inclusive, anti-bias practices and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing quality programming and curriculum implementation.
• Address varying abilities with accommodations and modifications.
• Stay up to date with information regarding children of varying abilities.
• Modify behavior plans with appropriate modifications.
• Ensure the implementation of behavior action and safety plans.
• Administer and track medications including inventory.
• Create and update Individual Child Care Program Plans (ICCPP).
• Communicate effectively with families to meet them where they are.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to Adventure Club and District 281 policies.
