Job summary

Westonka Community Education and Services seeks a School Year Adventure Club Assistant to support the districtwide program across campuses. This role follows a split schedule: 6:30 a.m.–9:30 a.m.

and 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with potential to cover both shifts. Qualifications include a high school diploma (some college coursework preferred) and experience with children; CPR/First Aid certification is required or trainable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework strongly preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain; training provided).

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and attendance for groups of children.
• Engage children in activities during program hours.
• Lead and supervise children during on-site and field activities.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.
• Assist with program policies and behaviors as needed.
