Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 1–2 years’ experience with Raiser’s Edge or a relational database;
• 1–2 years’ experience with data management, manipulation, or cleanup.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required.
• Knowledge of data elements, data management, and programming logic.
• Strong communication, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing data maintenance of the IA database, ensuring accuracy and integrity on biographical, demographical, and education information.
• Performs data synchronization with other offices to ensure accurate student, faculty, and staff records.
• Incorporates changes including returned mail, iarecordupdates, obituary finder, white pages, alumni finder, etc.
• Cleans up and validates data and handles special projects.
• Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources to update the Raiser’s Edge database.
• Assists with management of external systems integrated with Raiser's Edge CRM (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Omatic Cloud, Event Management).
• Designs and creates queries/exports for data extraction and ad-hoc lists.
• Maintains documentation on list criteria and sharing approvals.
• Supports other Advancement Services duties as needed (gift logging, processing, imaging, etc.).
• Identifies process improvements and assists in testing and policy/procedure documentation.
• Communicates with the Director of Data Analysis and Prospect Research.
