The UW-Superior Alumni & Friends Foundation is seeking an Advancement Assistant to support the Advancement Office with a range of tasks, including event coordination, data entry in Raiser's Edge NXT, and basic bookkeeping. This role requires discretion with confidential information and regular Microsoft Office use.

Flexible hours Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm, some evenings and weekends for events, with starting pay $11.00 per hour.

  • Basic bookkeeping tasks and event registrations
  • Alumni archival research and general office duties
  • Handle mailings, event setup/takedown, and other office tasks

Job Summary

The Advancement Assistant will perform a variety of tasks in the Advancement Office to support the UW-Superior Alumni & Friends Foundation.

Duties
  • Assist with several events during the year, which may include some evening/weekend hours
  • Data entry and maintenance - adding new students, alumni updates, etc. to our database, Raiser's Edge NXT
  • Basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Event registration
  • Alumni archival research
  • General office tasks as needed, such as assisting with mailings, event set up/take down, etc.

Must be competent with Microsoft Office/365. Work will involve highly confidential information and adherence to security guidelines is a must.

Starting pay is $11.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications. Flexible hours Monday - Friday between 8am-4:30pm, with some occasional hours available during evenings and weekends depending on events.

The University reserves the right to check references with notice given to the candidates at the appropriate time in the process.
