Dartmouth Hitchcock Health’s DHMC is seeking a Sonographer to join a highly collaborative imaging team, performing advanced ultrasound exams across obstetric, gynecologic, infertility and general studies on the latest GE and Philips systems.

Ideal candidates are AMA-approved allied health graduates, BCLS-certified, and ARDMS-certified, with OB experience preferred and a readiness to train in high-risk obstetrics, delivering exceptional patient care and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualificações

• Graduate of accredited program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and registry eligible required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience performing a wide range of general and specialty ultrasound exams preferred.
• Experience in high-risk OB, advanced abdominal imaging, complex infertility, and guided biopsies preferred.
• Possesses a broad knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology and/or physiological data.
• Competent in Ultrasound reporting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Selects equipment and imaging modalities, position, and prep to facilitate optimum diagnostic studies.
• Operates ultrasonography equipment to perform an examination and evaluates scan quality.
• Selects and records preliminary study results and prepares preliminary reports.
• Takes measurements and labels them; communicates ultrasound findings to the physician.
• Consults with the radiologist about unusual scans and possible re-scans.
• Performs interventional (biopsy) duties and maintains equipment quality control.

Formação académica

Graduate of accredited program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

RDMS/OBGYN or Abdomen certification within 730 days
