Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking an experienced countermeasures engineer to perform advanced design, testing, and evaluation of electrical and computer systems for government and scientific uses. You will inspect sites, document results, and develop R&D plans while maintaining up-to-date technical records.

The role may require travel up to 50% and could involve leading project tasks, coaching junior staff, and ensuring compliance with ICS 705, NSSAM 1-13 and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the TSCM Fundamentals Course.
• Ability to travel 25–50% of the time.
• Experience conducting site surveys to ensure regulatory compliance.
• TS/SCI w/poly clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced engineering on electrical, electromechanical, and computer systems for government and commercial use.
• Inspect sites for regulatory compliance and document test results.
• Develop R&D plans and maintain technical documentation updates.
• Coach or lead less-experienced professionals when needed.
• Maintain customer equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
