Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a senior Counterintelligence Engineer to design, evaluate, and operate electrical, electromechanical, and computer components for government and commercial clients in a high-security environment.

You will assess threats, develop plans, and document findings while maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, ability to lift heavy equipment (75 lbs), and travel 25–50%.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the TSCM Fundamentals Course at the Interagency Training Center (ITC).
• Must be able to carry and lift heavy pieces of equipment, up to 75 pounds, during travel and while evaluating SCIFs.
• Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
• Experience conducting site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with ISS 705, NSSAM 1-13, and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced engineering work on electrical, electromechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military, and/or scientific uses.
• Inspects customer sites to ensure compliance with customer identified regulations.
• Develops research & development plans. Writes, reviews, and provides updates to technical documentation.
• Adjusts and makes changes to methods, design, or equipment when necessary. Participates in special projects as required.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies. May coach, review, and provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced professionals on the team.
