J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. seeks a Trailer Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repair on trailers under routine supervision, ensuring fleet readiness and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, work orders, safety compliance, and mentoring trainees, with opportunities for OE training and professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers. Some shifts may include nights or weekends; outdoor work is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair
• 1 year of experience in DOT inspections, FHWA inspections, and air brakes
• Able to supply your own basic tools
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements
• Able to work across multiple shifts, including nights and/or weekends

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance and standard repairs on trailer equipment
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and complete intermediate repairs per specs, complete work orders and warranty guidelines
• Assist with onboarding and mentorship of trailer technician trainees
• Participate in Original Equipment Manufacturer training for OE repairs
• Follow all shop safety procedures
• Maintain professional communication with J.B. Hunt personnel and customers
