Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Experienced Traffic Control Technician II to set up and take down lane closures and ensure safety on state highways and construction zones.

You will operate company trucks, drive MOT and TMA vehicles, place signs, cones, and message boards, and support project crews. We require 1–3 years of experience, the ability to travel statewide, and compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• 1–3 years of traffic control experience.
• Must pass background and drug tests (DOT requirements).
• Wear safety PPE (boots, hard hat, glasses, vest).
• Ability to read plans and follow traffic control plans.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down lane closures and traffic control devices.
• Operate trucks and MOT/TMA vehicles.
• Place signs, cones and message boards; monitor work zones.
• Transport materials to/from sites and perform basic equipment maintenance.
