Essential Responsibilities

• Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical/electrical diagrams
• Experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems of an engine and/or generator
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed
• Must be able to communicate via telephone and email

Qualification Requirements

• Strong customer service mindset and skills to drive, support and empower service teams and customers, plus 5+ years’ experience in a technical role
• Experience servicing engines, ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines, with a technical attitude complemented by strong business acumen including basic IT skills
• Willingness to work in a shift model and on call
• Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems
• Fluency in English is a must
• Good interpersonal skills

Job Specific Knowledge

• Strong communication skills, experienced in customer communications
• Boundaryless and multi‑culture working mindset and a team player
• Able to work efficiently without direct supervision

Preferred

• Multi‑year working experience with Jenbacher gas engines in the field, operational and commissioning across all engine types
• Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR
• Mechanical or electrical root cause analysis research and analysis exposure
• Previous field experience is a bonus
