RESPONSIBILITIES:

Do you have experience with mechanical power generation equipment, and are a high energy, self-starter, serious-minded individual capable of working independently and in teams? We are currently looking to add Field Service Technicians to our team. This position is responsible for providing scheduled maintenance and performing minor and major Jenbacher engine overhauls in the field.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment, or diesel engines.
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment).
• Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools).
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.
• Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Ability to travel including overnight travel.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to succeed.
• Must be able to communicate via telephone & email.

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:

• Attended a technical school.
• Related military experience.
• Maritime engineering background and/or experience.
• Experience with reciprocating gas/diesel engines.
