Job summary

Asplundh Engineering Services (AES) Ambler is seeking a detail‑oriented engineer to design and program SCADA and PLC based control systems, CAD drawings, and field wiring diagrams for diverse electrical projects.

You'll collaborate with clients, project managers, and sub-consultants, participate in on‑call rotations, and help manage equipment deliveries and project design cycles while advancing automation solutions across utility and renewable markets.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related major (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a systems integration role.
• Experience designing and programming SCADA and PLC-based control systems.
• Ability to read and create wiring diagrams and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and Programming of SCADA Systems.
• Design and Programming of PLC-based control systems.
• CAD drafting in AutoCAD for panel layouts.
• Prepare point-to-point wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with clients, sales, and engineers on project designs.
• Maintain SCADA systems in the field and support on-call rotations.
