Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer in the Automation, Integration, and System Protection (AISP) Department.

You will perform routine engineering tasks primarily in the SCADA discipline, creating SCADA point lists, RTU programs, HMIs, drawings, and BOMs under a lead engineer. You will participate in on-site commissioning activities and on-site or remote troubleshooting, developing plans and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Licensure: FE exam completed or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Engineering internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create SCADA point lists, RTU programs, HMIs, drawings, BOMs, port connection diagrams, and fiber patch panel drawings under supervision.
• Perform on-site commissioning activities and on-site or remote troubleshooting support for SCADA projects under supervision.
• Develop plans, specs, and observation reports to ensure completeness and accuracy according to engineering practice.
• Apply current standard engineering techniques and criteria to complete tasks.
• Practice efficiency engineering in design selection.
• Recommend alterations to improve quality of development and design.
• Prepare reports and correspondence concerning project direction.
• Effectively communicate with clients to ensure needs are met.
