Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced avionics systems for our Phoenix location. You will work with hardware, software, and network components across cross-functional teams to meet quality standards and customer requirements.

You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and will operate on a hybrid schedule in Phoenix, with 100% onsite for the first 90 days. Relocation support may be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of systems engineering experience in avionics/aerospace.
• Willingness to relocate and comply with export controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.
• Author high-level systems requirements in DOORS
• Conduct system-level analysis and optimization
• Systems integration, validation, & verification
• Model-based systems design and development
• Capture and manage system requirements with stakeholders
• Ensure system specs meet safety, performance, and compliance
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies
• Travel up to 10% and relocation support may be provided.
