Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Senior Technical Project Engineer in Avionics Systems. Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, relocation assistance available. Lead planning and execution of CNS avionics programs to deliver FAA-certified systems that ensure safe flight operations.

You will partner with engineering, PM, certification and customer teams to manage risks, budgets, and schedules, delivering complex avionics with global teams across NA, Europe, and Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required.
• Experience with FAA certification activities is valued.
• PM skills and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams through avionics program planning and execution.
• Define scope, schedules, deliverables, and resources for projects.
• Track progress using project plans and EVM to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Interface with customers, program managers and key stakeholders.
