Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Swiss Lathe Specialist / CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in Grand Rapids, MI. You will set up and operate Swiss-style or mill-turn CNC machines to produce high-precision components.

The ideal candidate will understand GD&T, read complex blueprints, perform inspections with calipers and micrometers, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation. This 12-hour weekend day shift offers challenges in a quality-focused production

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining or CNC operation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Swiss-style CNC and/or mill-turn machinery strongly preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating high-speed CNC equipment.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional tolerancing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for a 12-hour shift.
