Now Hiring: Swiss CNC Machinist (Set-Up)

I'm currently partnering with a well-established precision manufacturing company that is looking to add an experienced Swiss CNC Machinist to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on setup work, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set up Swiss CNC machines for production runs
• Operate Swiss CNC equipment to manufacture precision components
• Perform tool changes and verify proper tooling setups
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues to minimize downtime
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and process documentation
• Collaborate with operators and production teams to maintain efficient workflow
• Work with tight‑tolerance components in a precision manufacturing environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience setting up Swiss CNC machines
• Experience operating Swiss CNC equipment in a production setting
• Strong understanding of machining principles and shop math
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
• Experience working with tight tolerances
• Comfortable performing inspections using microscopes
• Ability to read and edit CNC programs
• Programming experience is a plus
• Experience with Citizen, Tornos, or similar Swiss machines is preferred
• Medical device or other precision manufacturing experience is highly desirable

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical machining training or equivalent hands‑on machining experience preferred
