Job summary

You will support multiple units, maintain tray inventories and assist in daily operations with a focus on safety and customer service. The position requires a High School diploma or GED, 3 years of sterile processing experience, and preferred certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience as a sterile processing tech required.
• Central Service Processing Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by communicating them to others.
• Collects dirty equipment and instruments.
• Sorts, loads, unloads and decontaminates equipment and instruments.
• Cleans, repackages, and sterilizes instruments according to procedures.
• Assembles trays and sets and prepares items for sterilization.
• Decontaminates, restocks and assembles case carts and surgical trays.
• Maintains and updates the instruments tray inventory list per policies.
• Provides training and serves as a resource for new staff.
