Formación

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a sterile processing tech or CSPT certification required
• Knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment and instruments
• Knowledge of transporting and handling sterile items and equipment

Responsabilidades

• Promote the facility mission, vision and values in service delivery
• Collect dirty equipment and instruments
• Sort, load, decontaminate and package equipment according to procedures
• Prepare trays, basins, packages, instruments for sterilization
• Decontaminate, restock and assemble case carts and surgical trays
• Document sterilization cycles and inspect packaging for cleanliness and integrity
• Maintain instrument tray inventory and assist in training staff
