Qualifications

• 3+ years’ of experience installing access control, video systems, or other related electronic systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and thorough knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocols.
• Knowledge of RS232/RS485 communication.
• Preferred: construction experience and building codes pertaining to construction, fire, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures systems are installed properly and on time per Kastle procedures.
• Provides feedback to identify barriers to timely execution.
• Communicates with Lead Technicians, Managers, and Project Managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Provides regular progress updates and accurate documentation.
