Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to establish and manage advanced mechanical ventilation, including HFO, NPPV, and PRVC, with minimal supervision. You will develop daily care plans, collect and interpret diagnostic data, and collaborate with the patient care team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy with an RRT credential and at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Two years clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and manages basic and complex forms of mechanical ventilation with high proficiency.
• Develops or refines ventilator care plans daily and communicates with the care team.
• Performs diagnostic testing and interprets data to inform care plans.
• Provides education to patients and/or families and participates in quality improvement.
