Job summary

Americold is seeking an experienced refrigeration maintenance technician to perform routine fixes, calibrations, and inspections across our warehouse facilities. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot control systems (ALTA/Allen Bradley), and ensure safety records are up to date while following lockout/tagout procedures and industry standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in industrial refrigeration maintenance (or 3+ years in general industrial maintenance

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years industrial refrigeration maintenance OR 3+ years industrial maintenance + relevant certification.
Completion of industrial refrigeration and maintenance courses required.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair ALTA/Allen Bradley controls.
Hazmat training certification required.

Responsibilities

Perform operation, repair, and adjustment of refrigeration systems throughout the warehouse.
Monitor system performance and determine when systems are not operating correctly.
Replace refrigeration system components following lockout/tagout procedures and standards.
Conduct pump out and evacuate refrigerant for valve replacement/repair.
Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment per OSHA standards.
Test, calibrate, and evaluate equipment performance and inspect work for safety/compliance.
Inspect completed work for compliance to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and keep work areas clean and organized.
Work flexible shifts, including on call when required.
Other essential duties may be assigned.
