Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing assembly of electronic devices using standard electromechanical techniques and basic handheld tools with good dexterity.
• Experience in soldering specified by workmanship standards.
• Experience with shop safety practices and procedures during assembly operations.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• U.S. Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to a specified tolerance
• Assemble, disassemble, repair, and reassemble precision assemblies and correct malfunctions often while using a microscope
• May assemble and modify prototype precision units for engineering personnel
• May monitor and verify quality by statistical processes or other control procedures
• Perform accurate data/record keeping
• Perform tasks according to the company’s electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures
• Work from designs, work instructions, and verbal instructions
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products
• Handle hazardous chemicals, baths, and cleaning solutions safely as part of the assembly process
• Perform repetitive tasks and sustain prolonged standing during work shifts
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including staying after normal working hours and weekend work when needed
