Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management seeks an Advanced Practice Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of advanced practice clinical services. You will support APPs, including NPs and PAs, to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

In this role you will provide strategic leadership for recruitment, credentialing, performance evaluation, and professional development; oversee staffing, workflows, and clinical assignments; and collaborate with physicians

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain minimum clinical practice requirement in the APP role to maintain licensure.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for APPs, including recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and development.
• Oversee staffing schedules, workload distribution, and clinical assignments.
• Coordinate continuing education and competency development for APP staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and department leaders to develop protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor clinical quality and outcomes for APP services.
• Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning for APP services.
• Ensure PHI privacy and compliance with UH policies.
