Job summary

University Hospitals Rainbow Ashtabula Pediatrics is seeking an experienced FNP or PA to join our team. The APP will provide comprehensive pediatric care, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, including rotating weekends.

The role requires APP experience, with PICU/NICU experience preferred. The APP will work under Ohio State Board guidelines, coordinating with the Rainbow Ashtabula team to deliver high-quality care, participate in continuing education, and advance patient

Qualifications

• Requires MSN (Nurse Practitioner) or PA degree.
• 1+ year APP experience required.
• RN license in Ohio and NP/PA credential in OH or PA license with Ohio.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred.

Advanced Practice Provider Pediatrics - ( 260003FJ )

Seeking an experienced FNP or PA to join the Rainbow Ashtabula Pediatrics team. APP experience required, Pediatric medicine, PICU or NICU experience preferred. The schedule is Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm rotating weekends.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Education Qualifications

• (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing, or
• Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program

Experience Qualifications

• 1+ years as a NP or PA required

Skills and Abilities

• Must have computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio, and
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio, or
• Current Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
