PRN Critical Care APP - (260006AV)

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the ICU Team and provide PRN coverage for the east region including Ahuja Medical Center and Lake West Medical Center. The schedule is PRN for days, nights, weekends and holidays. Nurse practitioners must be ACNP and 1 year APP ICU experience required.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Education

• Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required)
• (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)

Experience Qualifications

• 1+ years as a Physician Assistant
• 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner

Licenses and Certifications

• Physician Assistant (PA) (Required) and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required) and
• Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire) and
• Maintain national PA Certification (Required)
• Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required) and
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required) and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
• Current APRN License (Required)
