Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Merrimack Valley Family Practice in Andover, MA. The role features full-time hours (40/week), no after-hours calls or weekend coverage, and a collaborative, team-based care model serving all ages.

You will deliver comprehensive primary care, develop evidence-based plans with physicians, and manage tests and education for patients, supported by a strong onboarding and mentorship environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Masters in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Massachusetts (or eligible).
• National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
• DEA license and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR).
• Minimum 1 year practicing as an APP in Primary Care; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, and acute care visits across all ages.
• Formulate evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Order, interpret, and track diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
• Educate patients and families on preventive health and disease management.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
