Job summary

Unio Health Partners is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA-C) to evaluate and manage patients in a clinical setting. The NP/PA-C will work under the supervision of a collaborating physician and deliver high-quality patient care in a urology-focused practice.

Requirements include an NP or PA-C license, Master’s degree, BLS/CPR certification, and 2–5 years of AP experience, with EMR proficiency. This is an on-site position in San Diego, CA with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or PA program is required.
• Urology experience is required.
• Current BLS and CPR certification are required.
• A minimum of 2–5 years of AP experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, review medical history, and perform an appropriate physical exam.
• Interpret patient data and determine management and treatment in collaboration with physicians.
• Prescribe and regulate pharmacologic treatment as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Position Summary

The NP/PA providescare through the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. Works under the direction of the collaborating Physician and other supervising Physicians.

What you will be doing

• Evaluate patients, review medical history, and perform an appropriate physical exam in a medical office setting
• Interpret and evaluate patient data as authorized by the physician to determinethe management and treatment of patients. Consult with a physician as appropriate.
• Prescribe, recommend, and regulate appropriate pharmacologic medicine
• Work closely with physicians and other members of the healthcare team in a collaborative effort to provide optimal patient care

What you will bring to the team

• Current NP or PA-C license, Master's Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant program required.
• Urology experience required
• Current BLS and CPR certification required.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of EMR systems.
