Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider II for the Assessment & Treatment Center on a per diem basis. This role supports evaluation, treatment, and management across acute and chronic illness phases with involvement in diagnostic tests, treatment planning, and medication prescribing.

You will educate and mentor AP Providers and clinical staff, with a flexible schedule and potential geographic differential pay.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Certification as Nurse Practitioner by ANCC or HCFA-recognized body.
• Master’s or higher-level degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illness in patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Provide continued care throughout the patient’s medical journey; educate and mentor AP Providers and clinical staff.
