Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider II for the Assessment & Treatment Center on a per diem, part-time basis. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions within the cancer center’s ambulatory setting.

The position includes education and mentorship of NP/PA staff, nursing teams, residents and students, with a flexible schedule and the possibility of reporting for duty on short notice.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner license in New York state (required).
• ACLS certification within six months of appointment (required).
• NCCPA certification or eligible certification for Physician Assistant (if PA track).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across acute and chronic illness phases.
• Develop treatment plans and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Educate and mentor NP/PA staff, residents, and other clinical learners.
