Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider II for the Assessment & Treatment Center on a per diem basis. This role supports evaluation, treatment, and management across acute and chronic illness phases with involvement in diagnostic tests, treatment planning, and medication prescribing.
You will educate and mentor AP Providers and clinical staff, with a flexible schedule and potential geographic differential pay.

Provides evaluation, treatment, and management of acute and chronic phases of illness in patients at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center; management includes assessment of physical symptoms, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. Provides continued care throughout the patient's medical journey. Educates and mentors Advanced Practice Provider I and additional clinical staff including, nursing, residents, fellows, and other healthcare interns and students. Characteristic of the position is the short, unscheduled notice associated with reporting for duty, the variable nature of the hours worked per payroll period and temporary nature of appointments to this title and the fact that this is a non-benefit earning title. The starting pay for this position is $76.07 hourly which includes a geographic differential. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Required Education and Experience
As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) within nine (9) months of their appointment to this title as required by Medicare.

AND
The equivalent of two (2) years of full-time progressively responsible Advanced Practice Provider experience in a service line at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or at a cancer care or acute care facility recognized as comparable by Roswell Park.
The preferred candidate will have Acute Care Certification.
