Job summary

Community Health Network seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Hospitalist team at Community Hospital Anderson. PRN day shifts are listed with potential evening and night work, and a minimum of two weekend days per month plus one winter and one summer holiday.

EPIC is used for documentation and orders. The role emphasizes inpatient admissions/consults with no critical care or invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Indiana licensure/certification required.
• Hospitalist/inpatient experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a multi-provider setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle new admissions/consults for hospitalist service.
• Provide inpatient care within an ICU-like, non-ICU setting per policy (no critical care procedures).
• Collaborate with the hospitalist team across shifts, including potential weekend coverage.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record for documentation and orders.

Highlights

Community Physician Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to work with our Hospitalist team at Community Hospital Anderson. Cross-coverage at Community Howard Regional Health as necessitated.

• PRN day shift opportunity, 7a – 5p shifts, with opportunity to also work evening and night shifts if desired.
• Minimum requirement of 2 weekend day shifts per month. One winter and one summer holiday requirement.
• Responsibilities include new admissions/consults (no critical care or procedures)
• Opportunity to learn and grow as a provider
• New graduates with inpatient clinical rotations will be considered
