Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Bone Health Osteoporosis Care team, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services in Winter Park and Downtown Orlando.

The Advanced Practice Provider will diagnose, treat, and consult with patients across the care continuum, collaborating with physicians and health professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for orthopedic patients. This position emphasizes patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing.
• APRN license in the state of Florida.
• National advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
• Specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies.
• Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Initiate and manage therapeutic plans based on labs, exams, and follow-up data.
• Document accurate and timely medical records and care notes.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate patient care transitions.
