Job summary

Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to support spine and related care at our Ocoee and Lake Mary locations. The role involves inpatient and outpatient management, diagnostics, and co-management of surgical patients under physician supervision.

Florida-licensed NP/PA with national certification and BLS is required. Specialty experience is preferred, and you will join a team recognized for excellence and ongoing clinical research and education.

Qualifications

• MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing.
• Graduate of accredited physician assistant program.
• APRN license in Florida with national certification and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients and develops a diagnosis with the team.
• Surgically assists and co-manages surgical patients as credentialed.
• Performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as approved.
• Prescribes treatment, orders tests, and documents care per protocols.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and quality initiatives.
